Indianapolis Colts Trips New York Jets Made it to Super Bowl

Indianapolis Colts clinched a berth in the Super Bowl by fighting back from an 11 point first-half deficit to hand the New York Jets a stinging loss 30-17. Peyton Manning made two remarkable touchdown passes in the crucial stretch for the victorious Colts. The Colts will be going back to Miami for the second time in a span of four years and fourth appearance in Super Bowl in franchise history.
Manning made 26 of 39 for 377, three of them touchdowns, The four-time MVP became the the first football player in the history of the league to secure seven 300 yard postseason games. This feat overshadowed the tie with Kurt Warnar and Joe Montana.
The Jet’s numbing loss was their first in the road in six games. New York was leading 17-6 thanks to their trick plays, but the Jets was definitely hurt by the injury inflicted Shonn Green (rib injury) in the second half, whilst Mark Sanchez was shellacked in the last two quarters of the game.
